MemeTools Mobile Privacy & Risk Policy

Effective and Last Updated: August 26, 2026

This Mobile Privacy & Risk Policy applies specifically to the MemeTools mobile application (the “Mobile App”). It explains how information is handled, how the non-custodial wallet and blockchain features operate, and the principal risks of using the Mobile App. The website and desktop products may be governed by separate policies.

1. Non-Custodial Wallet Architecture

The Mobile App can generate or import blockchain wallets. Private keys and recovery phrases are stored locally on the user’s device using the device operating system’s secure storage facilities. MemeTools does not receive, store, recover, freeze, or independently control those credentials and cannot restore access if they are lost.

Users are solely responsible for protecting their device, private keys, recovery phrases, passcodes, and backups. Anyone who obtains a wallet secret may be able to permanently transfer the associated digital assets.

2. Information Stored on the Device

The Mobile App may store wallet addresses, encrypted wallet credentials, recovery phrases, wallet names, locally tracked coins, transaction-related preferences, app settings, attribution data, and analytics preferences on the device. Local information generally remains until the user resets the Mobile App, removes particular data where that option is available, or uninstalls the Mobile App. Device backups and operating-system behavior may affect deletion.

3. Limited Product Analytics

MemeTools uses PostHog for limited product analytics. Depending on configuration and user choices, analytics may include app version and build, operating system, locale and time zone, app environment, screen names, feature interactions, general error categories, app lifecycle events, attribution parameters, and coarse amount, balance, count, or duration ranges.

Session replay, automatic touch capture, and automatic error capture are disabled. The Mobile App is designed to prevent wallet private keys, seed phrases, recovery phrases, wallet addresses, exact balances, exact transaction amounts, transaction signatures, raw transaction data, tweet contents, clipboard contents, and full URLs from being included in analytics events.

Analytics data may be processed by PostHog and its infrastructure providers in countries different from the user’s country. Users may reset the analytics identity and local app data from the Mobile App. Requests concerning analytics data can be made through the official support channels listed at memetools.fun.

4. Blockchain and Public Information

Public blockchains are transparent and generally immutable. When a user creates a wallet transaction, launches a token, buys, sells, or transfers a digital asset, public information may include the wallet address, token address, transaction amount, transaction signature, time, smart-contract interactions, and other on-chain data. MemeTools cannot edit or delete information recorded on a blockchain.

Token names, symbols, descriptions, websites, social links, and images selected for a launch may be transmitted to a supported launchpad, storage provider, or IPFS-related service and may become public and effectively permanent. Users must not submit confidential information or content they do not have the right to publish.

5. Network and Third-Party Services

To provide prices, balances, social feeds, blockchain access, token metadata, transactions, and optional transfer or fiat-ramp functionality, the Mobile App communicates with third parties. These may include blockchain RPC providers, Pump.fun, LetsBonk or Raydium Launchpad, Pons, Flap, IPFS or metadata hosts, X-related feed services, Phantom, Coinbase, MoonPay, PostHog, and other providers displayed in the Mobile App.

Those providers may automatically receive network information such as IP address, request time, device or browser information, wallet address, public transaction information, and information the user chooses to provide. Their separate terms and privacy policies apply. MemeTools does not operate or control their services, smart contracts, pricing, availability, identity checks, or data practices.

6. Fiat Ramps and External Wallets

Optional buy, sell, deposit, withdrawal, or transfer flows offered by Coinbase, MoonPay, Phantom, or another provider are provided by that third party. A wallet address and a signed authentication challenge may be transmitted to MemeTools infrastructure and the selected provider to create a hosted session. Private keys are not transmitted. The provider may require identity verification and may restrict access based on location or eligibility.

7. Transactions and User Authorization

The Mobile App can construct, sign locally, and broadcast blockchain transactions only after a user initiates and confirms an action. MemeTools does not maintain an order book, match users, set market prices, custody settlement assets, or act as counterparty to trades. Transactions interact directly with public blockchains and independently operated third-party protocols.

Blockchain transactions are normally irreversible. Network congestion, slippage, price movement, smart-contract behavior, token taxes, failed transactions, malicious tokens, unavailable liquidity, and third-party outages can cause unexpected results or complete loss.

8. Fees

MemeTools may charge a clearly disclosed service fee equal to 1% of the initial developer purchase amount on supported on-chain token launches. Users may also pay blockchain network fees, priority fees, gas, smart-contract fees, launchpad or exchange fees, creator fees, slippage, and fees charged by fiat-ramp or wallet providers. Fees can vary by network and provider and should be reviewed before confirmation.

9. Token Creation and Trading Risks

Digital assets, especially newly created tokens and memecoins, are highly speculative and may lose all value. MemeTools does not endorse any token, creator, market, or protocol and does not guarantee liquidity, price, execution, legality, security, or future availability.

A user who creates or promotes a token is solely responsible for its content, supply, distribution, marketing, tax treatment, and compliance with securities, commodities, consumer-protection, sanctions, advertising, intellectual-property, and other applicable laws. The Mobile App does not provide legal, financial, investment, or tax advice.

10. Regional Availability and Compliance

Features may be unavailable, restricted, or discontinued in any country, region, account, device, or network where MemeTools or a third-party provider determines that operation may be prohibited, regulated, unsupported, or inconsistent with platform requirements. A user must not circumvent geographic or technical restrictions.

Availability in an app store does not mean that every feature is lawful for every user or that MemeTools, Apple, Google, or a third party has approved a transaction or token. Users are responsible for confirming that their use is lawful. This Policy is a disclosure document and does not itself constitute a licence, registration, regulatory approval, or legal opinion.

11. Data Sharing and Sale

MemeTools does not sell wallet credentials or personal information. Information may be shared with infrastructure, analytics, support, security, blockchain, metadata, wallet, and ramp providers only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality, comply with law, investigate abuse, protect users, or enforce applicable terms. Public blockchain and IPFS information is accessible to anyone.

12. Security and Retention

MemeTools uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect locally stored credentials and limit sensitive analytics. No device, application, storage system, blockchain, or network is completely secure. Users should maintain secure offline backups, enable device protections, verify transaction details, and use only trusted networks.

Local data is retained as described above. Third-party providers retain information under their own policies. Blockchain and distributed-storage records may be permanent. Legal, fraud-prevention, security, and support records may be retained where reasonably necessary or required by law.

13. Children

The Mobile App is not intended for anyone under 18 or under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. MemeTools does not knowingly offer the Mobile App to children.

14. Changes and Contact

This Policy may be updated to reflect product, provider, legal, or regulatory changes. The updated date will be shown above. Material changes may also be communicated in the Mobile App where appropriate.

Questions, privacy requests, or security reports may be submitted through the official support channels listed at https://memetools.fun. Please do not send private keys, seed phrases, or recovery phrases to support.

Use of the Mobile App is also subject to the MemeTools Mobile Terms of Use at https://memetools.fun/mobile-terms.
